Speaking at the United Nations General Assembly, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc emphasized the need to strengthen cooperation and solidarity in the spirit of responsibility and sharing, especially prioritizing the equitable provision of vaccines. In particular, the President mentioned that developed countries need to uphold their responsibility to support poor countries and developing countries with finance, technology and capacity building to reduce emissions, adapt, natural disaster prevention and mitigation, towards green transition, circular economy.
