Within the implementation framework, the Initiative has established the “Retail Alliance to reduce plastic bag consumption” (hereinafter referred to as the Alliance) with the participation of supermarket chains and retailers to increase the use of plastic bags, thus contributing to reducing plastic waste, single-use plastic bags. Currently, there are 16 supermarket chains and retailers registered to join and support the Alliance.
