Urban transformation in Asia is inevitable. The change of socio-economic structures, climate change adaptation and mitigation drive change in cities across the region. What this transformation will look like, is not a fixed process. However, people from all backgrounds should get a say in what their urban future needs to look like to be socially and ecologically just. The regional exchange platform on social-ecological transformation of cities in Asia welcomes participants to join us online from 22-24 June 2022 to share knowledge and learn from each other´s experiences in making cities a livable place. The Climate & Energy Project of Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung in Asia is glad to announce three sessions with speakers from academia, politics and civil society on urban transformation trends, feminist cities and circular economy and invites participants to join the discussions.
