Some highlights:
- Freshly revamped CE Hub website: After nearly two years of operation, the CE Hub has updated its website, with additional functionalities to accommodate the broadened scope and better serve its mission.
- Experts Assembled to draft National Action Plan on Circular Economy: From 3rd to 5th August, ISPONRE, in collaboration with UNDP orchestrated a writeshop, assembling experts and policymakers to discuss and complete the draft of the National Action Plan on Circular Economy Implementation.
- Netherlands and UNDP strengthen collaboration to accelerate CE in private sector: The Embassy of the Kingdom of Netherlands and UNDP have reinforced their partnership through the ACE-Biz project, which will focus on circular guidelines, a capacity-building program, and a certification scheme to transform businesses.
- Webinar series hosted by the CE Hub: The webinar series was launched in June 2023 with topics about circular economy policies, financing in circular economy, and circular cities. It is running the second cycle with more sessions to showcase circular initiatives and allow businesses to learn from their peers and policymakers, regarding lessons learned, emerging regulations, and new technologies.
- Net Zero Challenge 2023 calling for climate-tech innovators: From 21st August to 15 October, the competition is looking for three best climate solutions globally to receive USD 630K in non-dilutive grants to pilot their projects in Viet Nam.
