Within the framework of the visit and working session with Nghe An province, on the afternoon of March 12, delegates from the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and students of the training class updated knowledge for Alternate member of the 13th Party Central Committee visited and worked at projects of TH Group in (Phu Quy area, Western region – Nghe An).

Resolution of the 13th Party Congress affirms that circular economy is becoming an inevitable trend to meet the requirements of sustainable development in the context of increasingly depleted resources and a polluted and degraded environment, climate change is happening fiercely.

Along with that, the green economic model has also been oriented by the Government for many years to improve people’s lives and protect nature.

TH Group aims for a sustainable future

In fact, in the market, TH Group pioneered the application of circular production processes very early on. In the circular production chain at TH Group, byproducts and waste from one process become input materials for another process. Thanks to this, the life cycle of the material is maintained as long as possible before being released into the environment, thereby minimizing emissions.

The green path that TH is taking towards a sustainable future includes six pillars of sustainable development policy including nutrition and health, environment, people, education, community and animal welfare.

The group visited the clean fresh milk factory TH True MILK

Specifically, the dairy farming project focusing on applying high technology of TH Group has been implemented since October 2009. The goal that TH sets is to build the clean fresh milk brand TH True MILK into a national brand with international reach.

The project operates along the production chain from green pastures to clean glasses of milk, including raw material areas, feed factories, dairy farms, milk processing plants and the TH True Mart distribution system.

The highlight is the TH dairy farm with 3 clusters (9 farms) with nearly 70,000 dairy cows. Not stopping there, the size of the herd continued to expand. In early March, more than 1,940 purebred Holstein Friesian high-yield dairy cows from the US were imported by TH to Nghe An.

At the farm, all stages of cultivation and animal husbandry apply high technology such as the Afifarm herd management process – Israel; New Zealand’s veterinary and disease management processes; closed automatic milking system; wastewater and waste treatment processes and equipment from Japan, Israel and the Netherlands,…

Administrative activities and production data have been digitized, using artificial intelligence and cloud computing.

TH has applied green and circular economy models to all stages of the livestock, farming, and production process. A typical example is the construction of a cow manure and wastewater treatment system.

“Cow manure is put into the pressing and separation system. After being separated and mixed at a temperature of 65-70 degrees Celsius to eliminate harmful bacteria, the manure will be mixed with sugarcane bagasse and some yeast in 45 days to produce finished organic fertilizer.

Organic fertilizer is mainly used to fertilize grass as food for cows, and a part is supplied to the market” – Mr. Vuong Quoc Hanh, manager of a microbial fertilizer factory (TH Group), said.

TH Group’s projects are achievements that Labor Hero Thai Huong – founder and chairman of the TH Group’s strategic council – has been making great contributions to the dairy industry in particular and high technological agriculture of Vietnam in general.

Currently, TH True MILK clean fresh milk accounts for about 45% of the market share of the fresh milk segment in Vietnam.
