The “Ending Plastic Pollution Innovation Challenge” (EPPIC) 2023 is currently accepting applications from all over ASEAN. UNDP encourages all start-ups and youth within our network to take advantage of this remarkable chance to make a difference.
EPPIC aims to tackle plastic pollution in coastal and river areas of Lao PDR and Cambodia, and your innovative solutions could be the key to driving positive change in this crucial endeavor. By participating in EPPIC, you have the opportunity to showcase your creative ideas and contribute to reducing plastic waste in our region.
Deadline: 31 August 2023
Objective: To contribute to the reduction of plastic waste in coastal and river areas in Lao PDR and Cambodia.
Previous Implementations: EPPIC has been successfully implemented in Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines in previous years.
Prize: This year, the challenge offers a prize worth 18,000 USD each. Additionally, winners will have access to an incubation/acceleration program to further develop their innovative solutions.
