Lagom VietNam Project – Collection and Recycling of Plastic Milk Cartons

Lagom is a company that collects and recycles milk cartons under the program “1-second action – environmental protection”, with Tetrapak and several other units accompanying the implementation with the desire to preserve and give children back a clean, green environment. Waste collection and recycling is the first area Lagom chose to start, but not all. Because waste is currently a danger to human health and to nature – our living environment. That painful problem comes from a lifestyle of convenience and excess. Treating waste and moving towards sustainable development is work that needs to be done now to preserve and return a clean environment to future generations.

Lagom will not stop at just collecting and recycling, there are no limits set here, be it green agriculture, education or any field that Lagom is capable of, with all its efforts. Lagom will not hesitate to start working with his own strength. Lagom believes that most of you see that our world is falling into a state of imbalance as it faces many problems: agriculture uses too many toxic chemicals; People are dependent on technology and chemicals; epidemics and diseases for which no cure has been found; Extreme natural phenomena are becoming more and more frequent… Are we really happy amidst so many things that can be called “dangers”?

Results achieved until 2020:
– Has cooperated with more than 200 preschools along the North and South.
– Has cooperated with more than 600 primary schools along the North and South.
– Collect & recycle more than 570 tons of milk cartons (equivalent to 71 million milk cartons).
– Traveling over 20,000 km to transport plastic waste throughout Vietnam.
