Hanoi – September 28, under the framework of the Post-Training support of the Circular Economy Capacity Building Training Program for Enterprises in Viet Nam, Embassy of the Netherlands, United Nations Development Program in Viet Nam (UNDP), Saxion University of Applied Sciences, Thua Thien Hue Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (HiHub), Environmental Economic Policy Institute (EEPI), Institute of Circular Economy Development (ICED), and the Vietnam Circular Economy Hub (CE Hub) jointly organized a seminar on “Circular Wastewater” with the following specific contents:
Participants:
- Enterprises that have participated in Circular Economy Capacity Building Program Ho Chi Minh, Hue and Ha Noi, and other enterprises in the partner network, especially those interested in wastewater treatment
- Experts from research institutions: Vietnam Cleaner Production Center (VNCPC), Institute of Environmental Science and Technology (IESE), Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, Conservation Network Vietnam’s water source
- Representative of Vietnam Environment Administration, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) (tbc)
- Representatives from UNDP, EEPI, HiHub and ICED
Objectives:
- Providing professional knowledge and international experience in wastewater treatment and circular wastewater for businesses
- Find out the current status of wastewater treatment, support needs of businesses
- Connecting businesses with a network of domestic and international experts, advanced technology in wastewater treatment
- Discuss and share potential cooperation on wastewater treatment and wastewater recirculation
