Decision to approve the developmental plan for construction materials in Thua Thien Hue

♻ On July 5, 2023, the People’s Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province issued a decision to approve the developmental plan for construction materials in the region. This plan spans from 2021 to 2030, with a forward-looking vision extending to 2050.

♻ The plan underscores the province’s commitment to prioritize investments and research into utilizing waste as valuable resources for producing construction materials and fuel. It also emphasizes the importance of using waste and byproducts from other industries as building materials, reducing environmental pollution. Simultaneously, the province aims to phase out outdated technologies that contribute to environmental degradation while promoting the adoption of clean technologies.

♻ The overarching objective is to have the province’s construction material production industry attain an advanced, modern, and eco-friendly technological standard by 2030. This involves incorporating mechanization and automation into the production processes to meet both local and regional market demands. The industry also aims to achieve some degree of product export, focusing on key products with notable economic benefits. Looking further ahead to 2050, the province envisions its construction material production industry fully automated and established as a model of a sustainable and environmentally responsible sector.
