Circular Economy Training Program for Businesses – Training of Trainer

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Institute of Strategy and Policy on Natural Resources and Environment (ISPONRE), Foreign Trade University Innovation and Incubation Space (FIIS) and Da Nang Entrepreneuship Support (DNES) jointly organize the training program on Circular Economy for Businesses. The Circular Economy training program comprises of two Trainings of Trainer (ToT) with 50 selected trainee, including 30% lecturer, 30% from business, 30% from research institution, and two National Circular Economy Training for Businesses with representatives from total of 50 selected enterprises. After the business training, 5-10 enterrpises will be selected for case study in the 3 months incubation program. A technical guideline on Circular Economy for business will be developed within the training program.

The 1st ToT and the 2nd ToT were organized on November 12-14 and November 26-28, 2021, respectively. The objective of the ToT is to provide the general knowledge of circular economy for trainee (30% lecturer, 30% from business, 30% from research institute) then to be able to apply Circular Economy and spread the knowledge to all parties in the Circular Economy ecosystem, especially students, businesses and the consumers. Output is a designed Circular Economy Booklet in order to spread CE knowledge to students, businesses, community (businesses interested in circular economy but don’t know where to start). In December 2021, the Circular Economy training for business (Bootcamp) will be organized with the aims to (i) provide a solid knowledge about CE for participants/enterprises; (ii) create motivation and desire to change the knowledge on CE for participants/enterprises, and (iii) implement case study for selected businesses on CE.
