Foreign Trade University, FTU Innovation and Incubation Center (FIIS) in collaboration with the Center for Creativity and Sustainability (CCS) organized the Workshop “Which circular economy model for agricultural products and fruits in Viet Nam?”, time from 20:00-21:30, Tuesday, January 18, 2022.

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Institute of Strategy and Policy on Natural Resources and Environment (ISPONRE), Foreign Trade University Innovation and Incubation Space (FIIS) and Da Nang Entrepreneuship Support (DNES) will organize the 2nd training program on Circular Economy for Businesses, from 24-26 February 2022.

On January 10, 2022, the Government issued Decree No. 08/2022/ND-CP detailing a number of articles of the Law on Environmental Protection.

The circular economy in general and the extended responsibility policy of producers and importers (EPR) in particular will help to better manage solid waste, but will have a significant impact on the interests of the people living in recycling villages. How to make the policy come to life and ensure the harmony of interests of the parties is a difficult problem. On December 15, 2021, the webinar “Experience in Waste Management towards a circular economy” in response to Viet Nam – Japan Environment Week 2021 organized by the Institute of Strategy, Policy on natural resources and environment in collaboration with JICA Viet Nam was organized. Within the framework of the workshop, experts emphasized that in the current context, the circular economy model is offered as a solution, an alternative approach to the linear model, to help restore development, respond and overcome the situation of increasing resource use, supply disruption, limiting waste generation, and eliminating negative impacts on the environment.

On December 16, 2021, MOIT in collaboration with UNDP, MONRE and Chemical Society of Vietnam (CSV) to organize a high level workshop to explore Circular Economy opportunities in chemistry and chemical industry.
