The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), through Viet Nam National Plastic Action Partnership (NPAP) and Viet Nam Circular Economy Hub (CE Hub) is pleased to invite you to the workshop “Pathways for a Robust Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) System in Viet Nam”. The workshop will bring together representatives from the Viet Nam Environment Agency, along with government agencies, development partners, research institutions, industry associations, businesses, and other relevant organizations.
As Viet Nam advances the improvement and implementation of EPR regulation under the Law on Environmental Protection 2020, there is a growing opportunity to strengthen the system’s effectiveness, enhance recycling outcomes, and accelerate the transition towards a circular economy. Building on the outcomes of the Technical Consultation on a Functional EPR System in Viet Nam convened by UNDP and VEA on 6 March 2026 under the NPAP framework, and many other national stakeholder consultations on EPR, this workshop aims to facilitate a practical discussion on improving EPR system in Viet Nam.
UNDP is honored to invite you to participate in the workshop as detailed below:
- Time: 13:30 – 17:00, Tuesday, 11 August 2026
- Venue: C1+C2 Meeting Rooms, Green One UN House, 304 Kim Ma, Ngoc Ha, Ha Noi
