Fifty years ago, world leaders met in Stockholm and for the first time brought the environment into centre stage for human well-being and development.
To commemorate Stockholm 1972 and chart a path forward for the next 50 years, the Governments of Sweden and Kenya, with support from UNEP, UNDP and partners, are planning an international meeting on 2-3 June 2022: Stockholm+50: A Healthy Planet for the Prosperity of All – Our Responsibility, Our Opportunity.
You are cordially invited to attend the in-person Stockholm+50 national consultations hosted by the United Nations Development Programme in Viet Nam, which will be taking place during 27–28 April 2022 at the Green One UN House (304 Kim Ma, Ba Dinh, Ha Noi) to assist in the preparation of Viet Nam’s national report – please find the tentative agenda attached for your reference, with details on the sessions being offered.
