Training on CE and SCP from 14 – 18/7

The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) invite you to participate in a training program designed to enhance capacity and practical application of Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) and the Circular Economy (CE). This program is part of the “Accelerate Circular Economy for Business” (ACE-Biz) Project, funded by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

Program Details:

  • Organizers: Agency for Innovation, Green Transition and Industry Promotion (IGIP) – MoIT, Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)

 

  • Schedule:
    • Basic Training Program on Circular Economy and Sustainable Consumption and Production: Monday, July 14, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City. Hybrid event, available both in-person and online.
    • In-depth Training Program for Plastics and Packaging industry: Tuesday and Wednesday, July 15-16, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City. In-person mode.
    • In-depth Training Program for Textile industry: Thursday and Friday, July 17-18, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City. In-person mode.

 

  • Objectives:
    • Receive updates on domestic and international policies and regulations regarding SCP & CE.
    • Be introduced to tools that support SCP & CE practices (such as Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Higg FEM), along with successful case studies from around the world and within Viet Nam.
    • Learn how to develop your company’s CE transition plans (aligned with ISO 59010:2024).
    • Discover available financial resources that support businesses in their circular transition.

  • Note: This training program is completely free of charge as it’s fully supported by the Project.
