SEA of Solutions is SEA circular’s flagship event towards solving plastic pollution at source. The event aims to inspire actions by promoting innovative solutions and strengthening partnerships to accelerate progress towards a circular economy for plastics.
SEA of Solutions 2024 offers a crucial platform for stakeholders from diverse sectors to exchange knowledge and build partnerships during the intersessional period leading up to the fifth session of the International Negotiating Committee (INC-5) on the global plastic treaty.
Under the theme “Delivering actions to end plastic pollution” , this year’s edition will cover topics related to:
- Science and evidence-based action
- Policy and regulatory measures
- Finance and investment
- Circularity in the plastic value chain
- Community engagement for behavior change
SoS 2024 will bring together key stakeholders from the Asia Pacific region and beyond to promote inclusive actions and leverage on existing initiatives led by:
- Governments
- Business and industry associations
- Civil society organizations
- Research and academia
- Investors and funders
- Youth and media
- Development organizations
Please note that the program on September 20 will include a field visit, offering participants additionally an opportunity to observe and engage with practical implementations of plastic pollutions.
