Content:

The need to address plastic pollution in South and Southeast Asia is critical, particularly given the region’s vulnerability to climate change. There is increasing regulation and consumer pressure on brands to limit single-use plastics and replace them with transformative product delivery systems, packaging design, and regenerative non-plastic materials.

It’s time for collaborative action from all sectors to devise and implement sustainable measures that will make a difference. Your unique perspectives and involvement are vital as we explore sustainable reuse solutions together. Let’s unite forces to catalyze progress, form strategic coalitions, and drive systemic change alongside government, corporations, innovators.

Event Objectives:

  1. Engage in intimate breakout sessions to brainstorm and discuss reuse solutions.
  2. Learn more about upstream initiatives in South and Southeast Asia.
  3. Share your inputs, best practices, and specific challenges hindering the implementation of reuse solutions.
  4. Gain an understanding on the importance of multilateral mobilization and the significance of a global plastic treaty for reuse. The treaty should enable further advancement in reuse by broadening the range of products, elevating system requirements and standards, and enhancing performance targets.
