The session will look into how partnerships and regional stakeholder platforms drive the circular economy transition, particularly in regions where circular practices are emerging. These platforms act as vital links, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange. They bridge the gap between those starting their circular journey and those already advanced in circular practices. UNECE Stakeholder Engagement Platform Circular STEP operates across 26 countries in North America, Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia. The session will show cases where Circular STEP serves as a nexus supporting national strategies, such as for textiles in Tajikistan and for agri-food in Serbia. Participants will be invited to join Circular STEP and gain insights into applying circular principles in national strategies, aiming to inspire global stakeholders to adopt similar approaches.
