To implement the Government’s Resolution No. 01/NQ-CP dated January 06, 2023 on major tasks and solutions to implement the socio-economic development plan, state budget estimates and improve the business environment and improve national competitiveness in 2023, The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment shall assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with ministries, ministerial-level agencies and provincial-level People’s Committees in, formulating and submitting to the Prime Minister for promulgation a national action plan to implement the circular economy, the deadline for submission is November 2023. The Institute of Strategy and Policy on natural resources and environment is assigned by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to chair and coordinate with relevant units to perform this task.
Implementing the mission, the Institute of Strategy and Policy on natural resources and environment (ISPONRE) – Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment in collaboration with Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF) Vietnam organized the Southern Regional Consultation Workshop on the Draft National Action Plan for Circular Economy implementation to collect comments from organizations, relevant individuals in order to finalize the Draft Plan.
